The 2006 Contest

Coaches, in order to participate you must:

  1. Assemble one or more teams. Each team must consist of exactly three eligible students. However a maximum of one team per institution will be allowed with only two students.
  2. Fully register your team(s) before the deadline. Send an e-mail to Andrew Staugaard listing your school, team name, and team members. You must provide complete team member information before the deadline, or the registration will be cancelled. There will be a $10 per student entry fee. To get this rate, the fee must be paid by March 27 by filling out and mailing the Student Registration Form prior to this date. The fee covers Saturday’s continental breakfast, luncheon, and programming contest for each team member. You are strongly encouraged by the conference committee to submit this fee prior to March 27 so that an accurate count can taken to plan for Saturday’s breakfast and luncheon. If not paid by March 27, the fee will increase to $15 per student.
  3. Understand the contest rules.
  4. Study the error messages and notes to teams.
  5. Help your team(s) practice.
  6. Arrange for transportation to and from the contest.
  7. The official contest languages are C, C++, and Java.
