Introducting Visual Studio Team System Into the Curriculum

Joe Hummel
Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Lake Forest College
Lake Forest, IL 60045

This 3-hour workshop will introduce Visual Studio Team System from the perspective of an academic curriculum. This means we won't try to cover the entire toolset, but instead focus on the tools most likely used in an academic setting: the object test bench, unit testing, code coverage, source code control, bug tracking, and automated build. Installation and setup will also be discussed. Attendees will learn how to install, configure, and use the basic features of Visual Studio Team System.
