CCSC SW brings together faculty, staff, and students from academic institutions throughout the southwestern U.S. to exchange ideas and information concerning undergraduate computing curricula in smaller, primarily undergraduate, institutions.

We invite experience reports, research studies, philosophical papers, and tool papers that address any of the following course-related areas: Algorithms, Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Compiler/ Programming Languages & Paradigms, Computational Science, CS1/2 , Database, Data Structures, Discrete Mathematics, Distributed/Parallel Computing, Graphics/Visualization, Human-Computer Interaction, Networking, Operating Systems, Real Time/ Embedded Systems, Security, Software Engineering, and Theory.
We also invite papers in one of the following general topic areas: Active Learning, Accessibility, AP/IB Courses & Curricula, Assessment, Classroom Management, Communication Skills, Computers and Society, CS Ed Research, Curriculum Issues, Distance Education, Ethics, Gender and Diversity, Graduate Studies, History of Computing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Instructional Technologies, K-12 Instruction, Laboratory Experience, Multimedia, New Curriculum / Program / Degree Initiatives, Non-majors, Non-traditional Students, Object-Oriented Issues, Outreach, Professional Practice, Student Research/Capstones/Internships, and Web-based Techniques.
Accepted papers will be presented at the conference as well as published in The Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges. Papers should be no longer than 6 pages and will be double blind peer reviewed. Papers must be submitted on or before December 6, 2010. We invite you to submit proposals for panels and tutorials on topics that are consistent with the themes of the conference. Abstracts of accepted panels and tutorials will be published in the Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges. Proposals must be submitted by December 6, 2010.
