Google Developer Office Hours: Machine Learning APIs

with Googler Gus Class Friday, March 24, 2017 from 12:30-1:30pm

Abstract: Machine Learning (ML) is a hot topic. However, doing machine learning from scratch is complicated and requires a lot of pre-work and infrastructure. To simplify ML, you can use pretrained models, host them in cloud infrastructure, and abstract access to those models using APIs. This simplified approach is so effective that you can demonstrate ML in introductory computing courses and apply ML to programs throughout a CS curriculum. In this session, you will learn about the ML API features that Google provides including vision, speech, and natural language processing, see the APIs in action, and get 1:1 help with using Google APIs.
