Metaphor - 1st place ($125)

Metaphor is a metadata search engine which addresses two problems common to existing systems by providing an interface for browsing metadata, and by exporting metadata in a way that is accessible through traditional file system views and utilities.
Legacy Foundation Project - 2nd place ($100)

The Legacy Foundation Framework is an extensible game development platform consisting of a simulation game engine named Coriolis and a library of graphics and audio functions named Chrysalis, along with a first Coriolis plug-in: a graphical interface system called Hypernova.
SilverMail: Testing an Interface for Older Users - 3rd place ($75)

Silvermail is an e-mail client designed for older users. TOUT's (Technology for Older Users Today) guidelines were applied to an email interface and then their effectiveness was tested.
